The Estates at Shiloh

In 2018, after many years of consideration, the City of Dallas finalized their Comprehensive Affordable Housing Policy. As a component of the policy, the city outlined requirements to receive gap funding for affordable housing developments.The city issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to allow developers to competitively apply for the available funds.  Generation Housing submitted The Estates at Shiloh, a 264-unit, mixed-product, Class “A”, senior living community. This development consists of 40 townhomes, 224 congregate units, and two separate club houses.  Approximately 20 national developers applied for funding and only three development teams were selected.  Generation Housing was the highest scoring applicant and received $4.3M in soft funding.
