Founded in 2002, Generation Housing Development (GHD) is a Texas-based developer, owner, and asset manager of Class A multi-family assets located throughout the southwest.  GHD is a company built on relationships with communities, investors, partners, and residents.  With a history of success and a depth of industry specific experience, the principals of GHD have built a reputation for creating high-quality, well planned, and quality built multi-family properties.

As a long-term owner, GHD has been involved in the development, construction, and management of over 4,000 units, with a capitalization value of approximately $385,000,000.

Estates at Shiloh

Estates at Shiloh is a 264-unit, mixed-product, Class “A”, senior living community. This development consists of 40 townhomes, 224 congregate units, and two separate club houses. Approximately 20 national developers applied for funding and only three development teams were selected. Generation Housing was the highest scoring applicant and received $4.3M in soft funding.

The Reserve at Engel

Located in the Texas Hill Country of New Braunfels, The Reserve at Engel is a 96-unit, mixed-income, Class “A”, service-enriched, family development. In 2014, the principals of Generation Housing began discussions with city leadership and the Director of Economic Development to discuss solutions to address the city’s severe lack of affordable housing.

Estates at Ellington is a 72-unit, Class “A”, family, development in southeast Houston. This portion of Houston benefits from high paying jobs and feeds into the highly ranked Pasadena ISD. Recognized by TDHCA as a High Opportunity Area, this development site has excellent access to public transit, retail, restaurants, medical facilities, jobs, and great schools.
